Recipe: Garlic Pea Shoots

One of the tastiest veggie dishes you will EVER have - guaranteed!
These shoots can be harder to find in the US. Normally you’d have to travel to a specialty Asian Marketplace, but luckily for you, they can be ordered right on the Roc CIty Greens website:

The best ones are the youngest, smallest shoots, but slightly older shoots will work just as well with this recipe, though the volume will not reduce as much.

1 1/2 lb
fresh pea shoots -
3 clove
fresh garlic - minced -
1/2 c
chicken stock -
1 tsp
salt - or to taste -
1 Tbsp
vegetable oil
Serves: 4
Prep: 5 min
Cook: 5 min
Method: Stir Fry
Instructions:
- Heat up the oil in Wok or skillet on Med-High Heat
- Add garlic, stir fry for 15-20 seconds until fragrant
- Add Pea Shoots, salt and chicken stock
- Toss constantly - about a minute - until pea shoots begin to sweat - shiny and hot but not totally limp! They will reduce quite a bit in volume.
- Serve and Enjoy!
